Amazon UK is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our Information Security team in London. In this critical role, you will be responsible for protecting Amazon's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls to protect Amazon's infrastructure and customer data
• Monitor security systems for unusual activity and investigate potential breaches
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Respond to security incidents and lead forensic investigations
• Stay current with emerging security threats and industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in information security or related field
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection)
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles (AWS security preferred)
