Project Manager

Job Description

Amazon UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our fast-paced operations team in London. As a Project Manager at Amazon, you will lead cross-functional projects that drive operational excellence and customer experience improvements across our UK operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
• 3+ years of direct work experience in a project management capacity
• Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
• Proficiency with project management software tools (JIRA, MS Project, etc.)
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a strong asset
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
